Eyes down and headphones in, mind-set "Lord knows where"! This is how metro commuters transit from place A to place B.

From today on, know that Metro Stations of Aliados, Campo 24 de Agosto, Trindade, Bolhão (until 8th November) and São Bento (until 15th November) display art as their interior showcases design projects created during the artistic residencies and collaborative workshops on the concept of systems viewed through design, held last May and June, this year.

This initiative is held under the Porto Design Biennale programme and Porto underground stations will offer the opportunity to appreciate the art of Luiza Prado and Pedro Oliveira (A Parede), Belle Nuankhanit Phromchanya (ACED), Ruben Pater (Untold Stories) and Demystification Committee, just to name a few.

The curator, graphic designer Francisco Laranjo explains that "the works presented feature different and varied perspectives, from politics to the media, from financial to economic information".
