2016 recap... the beginning

This time last year, a very special New Year's Eve was in place in Avenida dos Aliados.

The year 2016 began with music, light and Pedro Abrunhosa in Avenida dos Aliados. This year, 2016 will bid farewell at the sound of Blind Zero and Os Azeitonas.

Midnight will have a different tune and many surprises are in store.

This year, New Year's Eve Party will be one to Remember as well. The countdown is on until December 31 and Porto is preparing to welcome thousands of people to ring in the New Year. 

Special transport options are prepared for the last day of the year with bus, metro and train services non-stop overnight till break of day, and monitoring and supervision measures the city has never seen before.
