The Municipality and the University of Porto will offer 29 grants to students of the institution interested in participating in the European Innovation Academy (EIA 2024). Between 16 July and 4 August, the Faculty of Economics of Porto (FEP) will welcome hundreds of European, American and Asian students.

For three weeks, participants will have the opportunity to take part in an intensive course in entrepreneurship and digital innovation, aimed at creating innovative business ideas.

Students from different universities around the world will be able to experience all the stages of creating and launching entrepreneurial projects.

In this process, students will have the support of more than a hundred mentors and experts from international institutions. EIA 2024 will also include moments of training, discussion, networking and sharing experiences.

The grants are aimed at all students from all study cycles at the University of Porto (bachelor's, master's, PhD) who want to create their own startup.

All those interested must apply until 3 June by filling out the form. They must also be between 18 and 30 years old and have an advanced level of English.

The students selected for the grants are exempt from paying the event registration fee of 1,999 euros. Participation in EIA 2024 also confers 6 ECTS on each participant.
