This summer, the municipality is launching another free-access initiative to promote the health, well-being and quality of life of Porto residents. Starting on 8 June, a new municipal sports programme will circulate through Porto's parks and gardens. Every Saturday, between 10 and 11 a.m., PORTO.COMVIDA will challenge the public to join a fitness and maintenance class.

The sessions will take place in the 18 'outdoor gyms' that the municipality installed throughout the city in 2022, through Ágora.

The municipal company thus intends to continue its mission of promoting and publicising the practice of different physical and sporting activities and contributing to Porto's sporting development.

As with all its informal programmes, here too the classes will be prepared and guided by specialised coaches, with routines adapted to the participants each day.

Here's the calendar for PORTO.COMVIDA's first summer, spread across the city's 18 multifunctional stations:

This new municipal programme was created based on the conclusions of the 'Porto Ativo' study, carried out in partnership with the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto (FADEUP). The document defines strategic actions to be implemented in the city to increase the practice of physical activity and sports among residents.
