Porto Municipal Theatre (TMP) features a cycle on the work by Marlene Monteiro Freitas, themed "Foco Marlene", from 21 to 30 October. The choreographer and dancer's creative doing, a household name all across international stages, comprises the presentation of two plays, her newest project and a symposium that features free activities as cinema sessions and conferences.

This coming Monday, 26th October, the Municipal Executive will vote the agreement on the free administration of the flu vaccine, under a cooperation protocol between Porto City Hall, the Northern Regional Health Administration (ARS), the National Association of Pharmacies (ANF) and the Association Dignitude, to provide free flu vaccines in pharmacies to people from age 65.

For the third consecutive year, Porto Tennis Club hosts the International wheelchair Tennis Tournament. The competition kicked off on 19th October and concludes today, 21st October. The definition of the performance that takes to the stage at the auditorium of Theatre Campo Alegre, on 24th October, at 7pm is themed "Jaguar". But this theme extends to other interpretations; Marlene Monteiro Freitas and Andreas Merk stage a dance performance and a puppet theatre and activate individual feelings and notions that will have universal meaning.

Portugal conquered, for the first time, the Ecotrophelia Europe competition, in the field of agri-food industry. The team OrangeBee was the national winner to this European competition for students who come up with innovative products.
