Annual cultural programme "Uma Família Inglesa" [An English Family] is back to mala voadora Company in 2018.

This is the fourth edition of a programme that will end in 2020. This year's edition runs from 15 to 18 February and features three shows, namely "I Could Go On Singing (Over the Rainbow)" by FK Alexander, "Story #1" by Greg Wohead and Rachel Mars and History, History, History by Deborah Pearson.

"I Could Go On Singing (Over the Rainbow)", is the award winning performance of Total Theatre Award for Emerging Artist e Autopsy Award, an intimate setting where FK Alexander performs live with the band noise Okishima Island Tourist Association and to the sound of the last known recording of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" sung by Judy Garland.

"Story #1" by Greg Wohead (resident artist at mala voadora in 2017) and Rachel Mars (winner of the Total Theatre Awards of Edinburgh in 2017): an approach on how and why a narrative is built, concurrently with "reality".

"History, History, History" by Deborah Pearson, multi awarded artist, who features a "live documentary" on the individual and the political, which takes place in Hungary.

This is the first time that FK Alexander, Greg Wohead and Rachel Mars present their work in Portugal. Deborah Pearson has already performed at Culturgest, but this will be her first performance in Porto.
