The small auditorium at Rivoli presents the performance "Sleeping Beauty", in the context of Fitei 2018, on 21 and 22 June, starting at 7 pm.

Diana de Sousa, actress, stage director and writer, build a show that features different interpretations of the classical and typically feminine fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty".

The performance draws from somnophilia, a condition characterized as a type of sexual or erotic fetishism. It is also a narrative on how one's experiences and perceptions make us grow and mature. It is a dual game between perversion and eroticism, a sort of spy and spied, spectator and actor.

"A small room, strangely and irreproachably in order. An old clock is hanging on one of the walls. It chimes every morning, always at the same time. The night falls. A beautiful young woman with pale skin, a wig of black hair falling slightly below the chin and lips painted in red walks in, takes a pill and lies in bed, motionless. She is ready to be visited".

Diana de Sousa concebeu e encenou em 2017, o projeto "TRAVESSA DA ESPERA" que teve a 1ª edção inserida no Programa Cultura em Expansão apoiado pela Câmara Municipal do Porto.
