Aer Lingus introduces Porto-Dublin starting March 2017

Aer Lingus has announced a new route from Dublin to Porto starting March 2017. Aer Lingus is the national air carrier of Ireland. Its headquarters are at Dublin Airport, Ireland.

The new Porto Dublin route will operate three times a week (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) from March, 2017, as part of an expansion to the airline's network. This new route to Porto is included in the company's summer schedule for the coming year. The existing daily connections from Lisbon to Dublin and Faro and Dublin and Belfast will continue as well as the weekly flights from the Algarve to Cork.

Top Irish airline Aer Lingus is held by International Airlines Group (IAG), one of the world's largest airline groups that also includes British Airways and Iberia. 

Lingus Chief Executive Stephen Kavanagh welcomed the airline's expansion in Europe which will offer further travel options to US tourists visiting the rest of Europe via Ireland. "New routes from Dublin to Porto and Split will continue to the offer the choice, service and value that delivered our Skytrax 4-Star accreditation and we look forward to welcoming guests on board these new services in 2017," he continued.

"These new routes and additional frequencies will offer more choice to both business and leisure customers" said Dublin Airport Managing Director Vincent Harrison.
