The Alternative Market in Porto offers visitors handicraft, arts, food and dance and it will be held between 18 and 21 October at the São Bento Train Station (next to Madeira Street).

This is the first time that this market is held in the city of Porto, as the previous editions were held in the Jardim do Morro, in the neighbouring city of Vila Nova de Gaia.

Visit this urban market and indulge in four days of food trucks, arts and crafts stands, music concerts and urban dance, graffiti and even a bike "gathering". Also, if you feel you are in need of a haircut or beard shaving or in the mood for a tattoo, be advised that the market is fully prepared to grant this wishes.

The Alternative market runs from 10 am till 10 pm. Entrance is free.
