Annual Conference to debate cyber-security and cybercrime on a global scale in Porto in October

Cyber security and cybercrime specialists will meet in Porto for the annual Conference "eCrime Cyber-Security Symposium 2017" that will run from 24 to 26 October, at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto.

The Symposium is organized by the Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG), an international coalition that seeks to fight cybercrime at a global scale as well as provide professionals of the area with the necessary resources.

The meeting includes presentations, technical and practical sessions, web panels, training sessions, so as to allow investigators, academics, experts in the area and law enforcement agents to network, exchange ideas and experiences regarding cybercrime.

This year's conference will take place at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Porto, offering training in the domain of Cyber-security.

Participants to this conference are, among other, CSIRT.UPORTO, Trusted Introducer TF-CSIRT (Accredited), Stop.Think.Connect, NoMoreRansom, MISP and APWG.EU.
