Switch off from the hectic busy week and find a soothing stress-out escape at Bolhão Temporary Market, this Saturday, 19 January, starting at 3 pm. Entrance free, as usual.

The Tuna Académica Feminina de Nutrição of the University of Porto [Academic Tuna of Nutrition], will perform at the Market, in the context of the initiative "Bolhão em Festa" ["Bolhão feasting", free translation].

The Tuna is a group of university students in traditional university dress who play traditional instruments and sing serenades. This tradition goes back to the13th century, in Portugal and in Spain, when students needed to earn money or food.

Currently, students seek to keep this tradition alive, for fun, to travel and to meet new people from other universities.

This will be the first event of the "Bolhão em Festa" initiative.
