Of German origin but rooted in historic Porto, Claus Porto, the "venerable beauty and fragrance house" decided to go international, and what better destination for the "Belle Époque Europe" than the Big Apple?

That's right! New York City is, as of 26 October, the proud host of a 132 years of history fragrance house. At the Nolita ("North of Little Italy") neighbourhood in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, placed in a building of the XIX century, you'll discover the gate to a world of scents and textures, a sink graven on marble, symbolising the daily cleansing habits, the historic gallery where you'll find the most unique antiquities and photos on Claus Porto history.

Tacklebox Architecture is in charge of interior design, by architect Jeremy Barbour.

Claus Porto's factory is installed in its home city of Porto, where the soaps are still crafted using mechanical, old-world methods. The brand also has a flagship in Lisbon.
