Clérigos joined the Portuguese Museum Network

The Portuguese Ministry of Culture has acknowledge the Museum Brotherhood of Clérigos as member of the Portuguese Museum Network.

The President of the Brotherhood of Clérigos, father Américo Aguiar, stated that "it is with great satisfaction and with a clear awareness of its responsibility that we welcome the Museum accreditation, now part of the Portuguese Net of Museums".

"It is possible to achieve faith and culture, tradition and modernity, entrepreneurship and solidarity, all hand in hand".

The museum's mission is to "show visitors and the world the history of the Brotherhood of Clérigos and its famous architect (Nicolau Nasoni), as well as religious art collections, paintings, furnishing, sculpture, jewellery and ecclesiastic garments", father Américo Aguiar enthused.
