Culture colliding music by American band Matuto in Porto on 2 November

Porto City Hall and the Embassy of The United States of America are organising an innovative talent support programme. As such, the band Matuto will be in town to deliver a workshop on arts promotion. The band will perform after the workshop.

Clay Ross (guitar) and Rob Curto (accordion) are the core of the band, but the touring collective also performs as a quartet, quintet, or sextet with a consistently phenomenal cast of NYC based collaborators.

The workshop plus concert take place on 2 November at the Clube Fenianos Portuenses, starting at 6 pm.

Guitar player and Matuto leader, Clay Ross will deliver the workshop, which is followed by a concert at 9.30 pm. The event is entrance free but registration is limited (via email juventude@cm-porto.pt).
