Diet Plan for the Western Man debuts in the Berlin Biennial

"Diet Plan for the Western Man" by Carlos Azeredo Mesquita, premieres at the Berlin Biennial, on 24th August. This project is supported by the Criatório and Porto City Hall.

This performance is included in the parallel programme of this 10th edition of the Berlin Biennial, one of the most reputed contemporary art events in Germany.

The show "Diet Plan for the Western Man" adopts the format of a lecture/performance which addresses the issue of the symbolic functions of food, crossing references with anthropology, the history of art and pop culture.

For the presentation, the audience will be seated during the show and food prepared by Chef Vasco Coelho Santos will be served.

The performance will go to the stage of the Rivoli on April 2019.
