"This teachers and students' work group has a dual purpose; first, to develop educational resources targeted at high school students, and which will be available to all teachers in the European Union; secondly, and this relates to what Councillor for Education said, regarding cooperation, to come up with a joint work of Art, which operationalizes contents in the Science, Technology, Art and Maths subjects, and which will be presented in the European Parliament on 20 April 2019", explained Filip Robyn, of the Belgian delegation and Project Coordinator, as he shares this project coordination with the Director of the Conservatory of Porto, António Moreira Jorge.

Erasmus+ is the European Union programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe for the period 2014-2020, whose mission is to support the implementation of the Europe 2020 goals: growth, employment, social justice and inclusion.

This programme is developed to facilitate the intra-European and international cooperation, based on the results of 25 year programme implementation, targeted at finding new ways of cooperation and human capital development at European level and beyond.

At the end of the project, each school will present a topic related to a historic and national personality so as to boost intercultural learning between al participants.

The students that are part of this project are aged 16 and 18, and they study Maths, Sciences, Social and international Sciences and Languages.

The students are very pleased to be able to participate in the ERASMUS + in the city of Porto, a city they relate to the river Douro, the Port Wine, the Clérigos Tower and the lighthouse in Foz.

For Rania, a student from Sweden, "I was surprised by the old school look of the city buildings. The city is really nice". For Lia, from Greece, "the city really seems lively". Dajo, from Italy says that "we have arrived yesterday, so we did not have the chance to see more, but my expectations are high. I want to know the wine, the bridges and the food".
