Film cycle themed "Salão Piolho" features concert films in the most unusual places all over Porto

The film cycle "Salão Piolho" kicks off today in Porto. This is the third session of this event that runs till 9 December, with the screening of six concert films in unusual places all over town.

This cycle screens the most significant and influential movies in Cinema History, and the first session will take place at São Bento Station main hall, with the showing of the short film by Charlie Chaplin and Auguste and Louis Lumière, at 5.30 pm, to the sound of Catherine Morisseau's music.

The other places to host this film cycle are Porto City Hall, the Clube Fenianos Portuenses and the Voluntary Fire Brigade of Porto, which will open doors to the "best ever" of the Movie Industry, with live concerts while the films are shown on a giant screen.

The "Salão Piolho" is organised by the Inatel Foundation, in partnership with Porto City Hall, via Porto Lazer.

All sessions are entrance free, but subject to room capacity.
