Get inspired by the Romantic Museum of Porto after hours

Every Thursday evening, the Romantic Museum opens doors "After Hours", offering visitors tours to various museum facilities, over a six-month period, displaying period art and furnishings, along with gardens offering scenic river views.

This Museum, which was home to the exiled King of Sardinia and Prince of the Piedmont, Carlos Alberto de Sabóia-Carignano, is located in an old country house at the Quinta da Macieirinha and it is the underpinning of a bourgeois dwelling of the 19th century, with period furniture and decorative objects
. The Museum has been the object of profound rebuilding and restoration work. 

Tickets cost 2, 20 euros, which can be purchased at www.bilheteiraonline.pt or at the usual places.

This initiative is part of a six-monthly programming, coordinated between municipal museums that make for the Museu da Cidade (Museum of the City), whose main goal is to offer wider audiences diversified programmes.
