Porto Municipal Gallery opens the last exhibit of the year, "Transantiquity" on 8 December at 6 pm.
This last exhibit of 2018 asks the visitor to step into a venue that celebrates the concept of composite art, how the values of antiquity still shape contemporary art. 

 

"Transantiquity" is the sixth art exposition featured at the Municipal Gallery of Porto, curated by Filipa Oliveira and Guilherme Blanc.

The exhibition comprises artwork by Ana Mendieta, Ana Vieira, Basim Magdy, Benoît Maire, Clemens Von Wedemeyer, Derek Jarman, Dineo Seshee Bopape, Fernando Lanhas, Francisco Tropa, Gabriele de Santis, Grayson Perry, Guan Xiao, Haris Epaminonda, Jeronimo Voss, Joana Escoval, Mariana Castillo Deball, Mary Reid Kelley and Patrick Kelley, Núria Güell, Pablo Bronstein and Vasco Araújo.
