Maus Hábitos opens exhibit on the artwork of Volkan Diyaroglu

The exhibit by Turkish artist, Volkan Diyaroglu "Eu nunca emergi | emergir para afundar" ["I have never emerged I emerge to submerge", free translation], will be on show at Maus Hábitos till 23rd September.

The display opened on 28th August and it is supported by the InResidence Municipal Programme grants, regarding artistic residences.

This event is entrance free.

Volkan Diyaroglu was the selected artist to take part in the Maus Hábitos Artistic Residence Cycle, in Porto. His artwork is based in the dual meaning of the word "emerge", in the context of the world economy and politics.

This is his twentieth solo exhibit and it includes original paintings, digital print works and sculpture.

This initiative by the Saco Azul Cultural association/Maus Hábitos is sponsored by the Inresidence grants, included in the PLÁKA platform, in the framework of the municipal policy to support contemporary art creation.
