Municipal Theatre Campo Alegre screens the film "Mektoub, My Love: Canto Uno" by Abdellatif Kechiche, with daily sessions, starting at 6.30 pm.

The film tells the story of Amin, a wannabe screenwriter living in Paris. He moves to a fishing village for the summer vacations, in the South of France, where he reconnects with his family and childhood buddies. He spends time in his parent's café and in the local beaches crowded with beautiful girls. His loyal companion is his cousin Tony and his best friend Ophélie.

In the meantime Amin wishes to be inspired into writing, but that can only be decided by fate, by the mektoub.

"Mektoub, My Love: Canto Uno" is the latest work by Abdellatif Kechiche, inspired by the work of Fraçois Béagaudeu, "La Blessure, la Vraie".

This film is already considered a master piece by national and international critics.
