MODtissimo celebrates golden jubilee Edition

The fiftieth Edition of MODtissimo starts today, 3 October and it will run until tomorrow, 4 October at the Customs Building.

The trade fair gathers both national and international apparel industry of fabric and accessory manufacturers.

Around 250 exhibitors are present on the only Portuguese Trade Fair devoted to fabric and accessories and innovative textile manufacturing. Over 6.500 buyers are expected to pass through the doors of the Customs Building, according to the organization.

The display brings together 400 textile collections of fabric and accessories manufacturers at European level.

Established in 1992, the MODtissimo Trade Fair first began as a display of foreign fabric only. 

The 27th Edition held in March 2006 was the turning point in the MODtissimo's history, changing its headquarters to the heart of the city of Porto, the Customs.

This year the event is part of Porto Fashion Week 10th edition, which started 28 September.

MODtissimo runs from 10 am till 7 pm.
