Finir en Beauté and C'est la Vie will go on stage at Palco do Auditório at Campo Alegre, on 6 and 7 December, at 8.30 pm and a double session at 8.30 and at 9.30 pm, on Friday.

Writer and stage director, Mohamed El Khatib (1980, Beaugency) supports his work by means of a crosscutting approach on art and everyday life, namely visual arts, cinema, dance and digital media. His goal is to link aesthetics and daily routines.

He has established the Collective Zirlib. In order to prepare his show "Finir en Beauté", which focus on his mother's passing suddenly, Mohamed El Khatib goes on stage and presents his mother's last moments.

The writer uses routine events such as mobile messages, audio and video archives, emails, photos or memories, so as to rewrite his own story and to revisit an eternal and limitless love.

This work was awarded the Grand Prix at the Dramatic Literature Festival d'Avignon in 2015.

His project "C'est la vie", of 2017, debates the unnatural event of the loss of a child. There is no way that the pain goes away, the only way is to learn how to deal with it. Khatib invites Daniel Kenigsberg, 61 years old, and Fanny Cartel, 37 years old to share the story they have in common: the loss of a child, and somewhat creates a practical guide for life, where the only one certainty is death.
