Museu Soares dos Reis offers free cinema every Thursday in August

August is also holiday movie season at Museu Soares dos Reis (MNSR), with a mini cinema cycle. This is an outdoor programme and it will be held from 16th to 30th August.
The free entrance event takes place between 6.30 pm and 11 pm every Thursday.
L'Atalante (1934), by Jean Vigo is the first screened film, on 16th August.
Vigo's filmography includes "À propos de Nice" (1930), "Taris" (1931), "Zéro de conduite" (1933) and "L'Atalante" (1934), starred by Dita Parlo, Jean Dasté and Michel Simon.
This cinema cycle is jointly produced with Cooperativa Árvore, with the screening of the films "Boy meets girl" (1984) by Léos Carax, on the 23rd, and "Dogtooth" (2009), by Yorgos Lanthimos, on the 30th, always at 10 pm and access free.
