French choreographer and philosopher Noé Soulier believes that watching a dance performance is as creative as dancing.

His newest project, "The Waves", offers audiences a set of bodily experiences, taking to the stage six dancers and two percussionists. The latter are in charge of striking or suspending motion sequences.

Soulier works with impromptu movements, calling on the physical story of each spectator.

His past works include the performances "Movement on Movement", gestured centred and explaining each movement; in "Removing", Soulier's main goal was to show the public the possibilities of guided actions, and in "Faits et Gestes" [presented at the DDD - Days of the dance Festival 2017], the choreographer prepared a performance based on impression versus movement recollection.

"The Waves", by Noé Soulier premieres at Campo Alegre Theatre, on 28 and 29 September, at 9 pm and 7 pm, respectively.
