The Municipality of Porto created the Online Consultant to help traders in Porto tackle the crisis amidst the current pandemic.

This initiative promotes the sharing of useful information so that traders and merchants in Porto are best informed on what decisions to make regarding business management and also to raise the sector's awareness on what type of support is in place to help businesses.

Participation is free, however, registrations are mandatory. The first session is scheduled for 20th April, under the motto "Risks and opportunities in time of change".

There are 13 sessions organised till the end of May and the focus themes are the new strategies to overcome the crisis, online selling, how to motivate teams in difficult times, stock management and logistics in a State of Emergency, reinventing businesses, as well as support measures to SME, how to apply lay-off, just to mention a few.

Porto City Hall intends to support the city's fabric and companies to restore or improve competitiveness amongst the current COVID-19 pandemic.

All sessions begin at 6pm and last for about 45 minutes, for an unlimited number of traders.
