The 6th edition of Open House Porto, scheduled for 4th and 5th July, is recruiting 400 volunteers to inform and guide visitors. Applications can be submitted till 20th April.

After the success of the last edition, the most engaged so far with 37.578 visits, the next edition of Open House Porto is back this July, with free events to circa 75 iconic places and buildings in the city of Porto, Matosinhos, Vila Nova de Gaia and, novelty this edition, Maia.

The aim of this programme is to allow visitors to learn more about the iconic architectural heritage of these cities.

"This edition shows that the event has had an exponential relevant growth, people are adhering and now Open House Porto extends to another city, thus expanding the number of venues to be visited and bringing in new distinctive architectural experiences", stated Nuno Sampaio, Executive-Director of the Casa da Arquitectura.

Volunteers are required to inform and guide visitors in one of the most important events on architecture in the world; volunteers should be over 16 years old. They should enjoy architecture, built patrimony and have an interest on the story of the city and be fluent in public speaking.

This will be an excellent opportunity for conviviality, discovery and team work.
The application form is available at the event's official webpage (www.openhouseporto.com) or via this link
