Outstanding cultural season in Porto with the I Porto International Circus Festival

The highlight of the 2018-2019 cultural season in Porto offers circus arts at its grandeur.
From 13 to 16 September, the New Circus Project by Coliseu Porto Ageas, with the support of Porto Lazer celebrates the art of circus featuring over 40 free entry performances to be held in Coliseu, Batalha Square, Poveiros Square, S. Lázaro Garden and in Santo Ildefonso Plaza.
The festival encompasses outdoor performances and national premieres, bringing to Porto a seminal artistic programme that also includes a Social Circus project and an international conference.
Altogether, these actions are intended to stimulate the strategic positioning of Coliseu and the city of Porto as top leaders of Circus in Portugal.
Thirteen companies from different European countries will continue to boost the fascination of circus performers, namely Lapsus, D'irque & Fien, HMG, Zirkus Morsa and Clément Dazin for four days.
