Porta-Jazz features Mariana Vergueiro

Next Saturday, November 26, Mariana Vergueiro will be the guest of the Porta-Jazz weekly concert, starting at 7:00 pm. at the Association of Jazz Musicians of Porto, located on the fourth floor of the building A Lutuosa de Portugal (number 168 of Avenida dos Aliados). This event is supported by the City Hall of Porto.

Morning Rain is the debut album by Mariana Vergueiro, an emerging singer in the Porto Jazz panorama. 

This is an album that has a formal basis for Jazz and also the influence of alternative and indie music. "Morning Rain" expresses the five musicians' shared complicity by means of the simplicity of the words and the contrasts between lightness and intensity.

Mariana Vergueiro and her band released a CD with the same name in 2015. Edited by Carimbo Porta-Jazz, it was considered one of the albums of the year by the specialized jazz.pt. site.

The "Porta-Jazz Association" is a non-profit association, managed by musicians, with the purpose of promoting Jazz in Porto.
