The 17th edition of the Porto Half Marathon will hit the streets on the third Sunday in September, with the race starting at 9:00 a.m. from Avenida Dom Carlos I, in the Foz district. The route will only include streets in Porto.

As usual, those who don't want to risk the 21-kilometre race can sign up for the MiniMarathon and run the 5-kilometre distance.

The Hyundai Porto International Half Marathon is open to both federated and non-federated athletes born up to 2006. All age groups can take part in the MiniMarathon, which is non-competitive.

Registration is open until the 10th of September on the RunPorto website. Registrations can also be completed in person at Loja do Corredor. For those who are still unsure, last-minute registrations will be available on the 13th and 14th of September.

This year, due to Metro construction works, the Porto Half Marathon will not cross the banks of the River Douro.

Considered one of the most significant road races in the city of Porto and the country, this event is organized by Runporto with support from the municipality through Ágora.

The registration limit for the event is set at 15,000 participants in total. In 2023, the Hyunday Porto Half Marathon brought together 8,000 runners of 78 nationalities.
