Porto Alternative Fair hits town in October for a feel good event

The Congress Centre of Porto Customs will play host to the Feira Alternativa [Alternative Fair], a feel good event that claims to be "the oldest and the largest national event" in this area.

The 5th edition will be held between 12 and 14 October and it will gather over 150 exhibitors and will deliver over 100 activities, such as lectures, Feng Shui workshops, meditation sessions, coaching therapies, sound therapies using Tibetan bowls, reflexology, acupuncture, yoga classes, Chi kung and aromatherapy.

The event's major goal is to help develop the habit of pursuing a healthy lifestyle.

The different stalls will present visitors with an assortment of everything you can think of (almost!), from rational food, to natural cosmetics, and biological products.
This is a family event and tickets cost 5 euros a day, where the younger age group will have a special programme that includes yoga sessions and concerts.

There is also a three-day pass and it costs 9, 90€. Children up to 10 years are admitted for free.
