Porto exhibits the work of 85 Jewellers worldwide

Jewellery exudes significance and elegance, be it the pieces that average people can afford to the extravagant collections that only the elite few can aspire to.
Collectiva, an independent platform of author jewellery, has summoned designers from all over the world to a unique show of contemporary jewellery in Porto.
The exhibition, available for sale to the public, opens on 22 September at Bombarda Shopping Centre, in Porto.
The Collectiva platform is the craft of eight Portuguese designers and it showcases Art Jewellery, namely contemporary jewellery, presenting and disseminating the work of either national or foreign artists.
This first edition of Collectiva Meeting - International Exhibition will bring to the city of Porto the finest materials and pieces of 85 Jewellers worldwide.
The selection process is the result of an international call, with more than 100 applications being admitted.
Curatorship is under the responsibility of Collectiva, based on criteria such as innovation and creativity.
The 85 chosen jewellers include over 15 nationalities, namely from Japan, Korea, China, Russia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey, Greece and other.
