Porto hosts Concert for Peace on 5 January

The city once again embraces the honourable cause "Concert for Peace" on the first Saturday of the year, 5th January at Rivoli Theatre.
The Academia de Música de Costa Cabral, ACE - Escola de Artes, Balleteatro, Bando dos Gambozinos, ESMAE - Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo and the Orquestra Juvenil de Bonjóia will take part in this solidarity event, scheduled to begin at 4 pm.
The event is entrance free, upon prior ticket collection at Rivoli's Ticket Office, starting at 1 pm the day before the concert an up to room capacity.
The event is promoted by CPPC - Portuguese Council for Peace and Cooperation.
