Rendez-vous with contemporary art in Miguel Bombarda art district

This Saturday, 19 January, it's the comeback of Inaugurações Simultâneas [Simultaneous Openings] at Miguel Bombarda District.
Starting at 4 pm, street performances and guided tours will announce the new shows and exhibits promoted by Porto Lazer, which offers two free guided tours through some galleries of the Bombarda quarter, in the streets of Miguel Bombarda, Rosário and D. Manuel II. 

There are two available schedules (4 pm-5 pm; 5.30 pm-6.30 pm), and each group (15 people each) departs from Rua de Miguel Bombarda (pedestrian area, next to the "Porto." stand).

Registrations are open till 1 pm, on 18 January, via email stopandgo@portolazer.pt or at the "Porto." stand on the very day of the tour (this option is only available for the second tour).

The scheduled activities for this season engage the local community, by honouring residents, artists and Bombarda "personalities".

Each of the cycles of this new 2019 season is inspired by themes that are embodied in the quarter's daily life: environment and sustainability, fashion, music, urban art, infancy and multi culturalism.

The openings will take place every two months: 19 January, 9 March, 4 May, 29 June, 21 September and the last one on 9 November.
