Royal Air Maroc flies to Porto

Rui Moreira, Mayor of Porto, met with Royal Air Maroc staff, M.Adil Mohamed Korchi, responsible for the operation in Portugal, and Behhite Bouchra, chief of scale, which had already announced that the air flag carrier will resume the Casablanca - Porto route, offering three weekly flights beginning March 26, 2017.

Royal Air Maroc has announced that it will resume the Casablanca - Porto route, offering three weekly flights beginning March 26, 2017, according to airline information to the GDS.

Since July 2014, RAM operates around 90 destinations, 56 of which international. The carrier provides air links to 13 European countries.

This is an important African Hub that will enable Porto airport to establish flight connections to other parts of the world and according to the Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport cannot be seen only as a low-cost destination or a secondary airport.

In the past years, an increasingly number of air carriers and flag carriers operate flights connecting Porto to a number of important economic and touristic destinations.
