A delegation of students of the prestigious Bartlett School of Planning, from University College London, was in town for an "in situ" acknowledgement on how is Porto managing public housing, under the authority of the municipality.

About thirty students, as well as Arquitectos Sem Fronteiras Portugal, ASF- Portugal, (a non-governmental organization (NGO), whose fundamental goal is to collaborate with deprived communities in overcoming precarious conditions in the areas of architecture and urbanism), have visited numerous public housing neighbourhoods and the premises of Domus Social - Housing and Maintenance Company of Porto municipality.

The students from different nationalities have paid a visit to the built environment at Lordelo do Ouro, Rainha D. Leonor, Lagarteiro, Falcão and São João de Deus and have studied the management and investment model regarding the rehabilitation work, which is ongoing within the city's public municipal housing.
