The best national beatboxers compete in Porto on 14th July

The Beatbox National Championship challenge takes place in Porto on 14th July at the Silo Auto Car Park. The 24 best national beatboxers will be in town for a competition that will take the best Portuguese beatboxer to the 5th Beatbox Battle World Championship, on 3rd August, in Berlin.
A selection panel composed of Oliveira, Rizumik e Zack Person will have the task of scrutiny. The key factors for winning are creativity, inventiveness, technique, artist's flow, poise, image and competitor's progress during the whole championship.
The programme at Silo Auto also features graffiti displays, MC and Beatbox.
Beatbox is the 5th element of hip hop and it is known for the vocal creativity of a person making sounds or beats with their mouth.
This event is access free. It is organised by Portugal Beatbox League and supported by Porto City Hall and its Municipal Company PortoLazer.
