The exhibition "Os Sonhos de Helena" ["The Dreams of Helena"] by Isidro Ferrer is on show at the Porto Pharmacy Museum, from 21 September till 31 December. The exhibit is open every day from 10 am till 6 pm.

The display is based on the oeuvre "Los Sueños de Helena" by Eduardo Galeano. The book illustrations set the motto for the exhibit and alongside these drawings, there is also a set of wooden handmade sculptures from the "Funny Farm" series.

This exhibit is built revolving the dream theme and features an installation of five beds, three metres high with figurative objects and illustrations.

When the exhibit closes, the beds will be donated to a Social Care institution.

This temporary exhibition was jointly organised by ILUSTRARTE- Biennial International Exhibition of Children's Book Illustration and the Cultural Department of the National Association of Pharmacies.

The show is curated by Eduardo Filipe and Ju Godinho, from ILUSTRARTE, and the project is the responsibility of architects Pedro Cabrito and Isabel Diniz.

Isidro Ferrer is reputed as one of the most significant and influential contemporary illustrators. Some of his most recognised work is published by El País daily Newspaper, continuity tabs for Canal Plus, centenary of Luis Buñuel centenary celebration image and the New Volkswagen Beetle ad.
