Medeia Filmes features The Grapes of Wrath (single session), by John Ford and Fahrenheit 11/9 (preview), by Michael Moore on 30 October, at the Pequeno Auditório at Rivoli.

The Grapes of Wrath portray the difficulties of American farmers during the Great Depression, focusing on economic hardship, agricultural industry changes, and bank foreclosures. The film was adapted from the realistic novel fiction of the same name written by Nobel Laureate John Steinbeck.

The second screening at Rivoli is Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 11/9, a film on American democracy, and a reference to 9 November 2016, the day the results of the American election were made public, granting Trump the Presidency of the United States of America.

In this movie, Moore "summons Americans to rescue democracy".
