If you are dreaming of an escape, we are pleased to announce that the Serralves Foundation invites for night-time trips this Thursday at 9.30 pm. The after-hours tour is guided by CIBIO researchers, the Centre for Research in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources, in Porto.

This is a case of night meets light, under the "Há luz no Parque" ["There is light in the Park"] project, that will continue till 9th September.

This year's programme includes the special participation of artist João Paulo Feliciano, one of the most versatile artists of the Portuguese artistic scene, whose artwork combines the theme of light and correlate technologies and phenomena.

As stated by the Serralves Foundation, "This artistic collaboration has different dimensions: on one side, the artist's creative work is set up at Serralves Park, namely installations of light; on the other side, his intermediation also extends to the lighting of the House and taking part in the Park's lighting design".

Serralves offers the opportunity to tour the Park at will, and provides guided tours as well. Other activities are also available such as night photography workshops and biodiversity nocturnal exploring sessions.

Tickets cost five euros (50% student discount and over 65 years of age). Entrance is free for "Amigos de Serralves".
