Trade Association honoured Rui Moreira

Porto Trade Association honoured Rui Moreira as its 36th President, presenting his official portrait, which will be on display at the association together with the portraits of former presidents of the same association.

Rui Moreira was President of Porto Trade Association from 2001 to 2013 and during the official dinner in his honour, Rui Moreira declared that "this place [Porto Trade association] has to have its own voice and it has to be bothersome. At times, it even has to be belligerent".

The author of the portrait is Master António Bessa, whose studio is located at Almada Street. This author has also painted the portrait of the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
