Turkish Airlines announces Istanbul - Porto air link with ten flights per week till June 2019

Turkish Airlines has already communicated to the booking systems that the number of weekly flights between Istanbul and Porto will increase to 10 flights, in the summer of 2019.

This information was released by PressTur magazine, which further notices that as of 31st May 2019, the frequency of flights will increase from seven to eight flights per week. From 27th June, there will be 10 weekly flights.

Turkish is the only airliner to operate direct flights between Porto-Istanbul, the air-route initiated in April 2015. This is a daily flight connection from May 2017.

The airline has strengthen operations in Porto with the opening of its own premises, in Foz. At that time, Turkish vice-President for Sales in Southwest Europe, Omer Faruk reiterate the company's commitment to improving the investment in the city of Porto.
