Understanding Consumer and the Digital Campaign of Barack Obama in March in Porto

The "Understanding Consumer" QSP Summit 2017 will be held on 23rd March at Exponor Congress Centre, in Porto.

From the new consumer demands to Barack Obama's digital campaign, the latest trends and practices in marketing will be debated in Matosinhos and Porto, at the QSP Summit, one of the most important European conferences in the sector.

QSP Summit is one of the most significant Marketing and Management Conferences in Europe and brings together global trendsetters in various fields of expertise.

This year's edition, themed "Understanding Consumer", will share insightful contributions by experts on how the consumer changes and the resulting behaviour.

This is the second time that the brand Porto. will sponsor the summit and will be represented in an exhibition stand at the venue.

The Mayor of Porto will welcome the speakers to this summit where relevant contents regarding new market visions will be debated, namely brand activation, product design, brand language, data protection, new technology solutions, content distribution, consumer of emerging markets, artificial intelligence, emotional brands, health digitalization, team management and construction, organizational culture and disruptive marketing plans. 

Renowed keynote speakers will attend the main event as well as parallel initiatives, such as Worklabs, Trends Forum and the Disruptive Hall.

 

Paco Underhill is an eminent anthropologist and founder of Envirosell, will focus on behavioural research and consultancy firm regarding commercial environments. He is also the author of best seller "Why We Buy: The Science of Shopping", published in 27 languages.

Li Huang is a Professor of Organizational Behaviour at INSEAD. Professor Huang is a specialist on the psychology of power, creativity, and negotiations and has published in leading academic journals such as Academy of Management Journal.

Kyle Nel, Executive Director at Lowe's Innovation Labs, will share his longstanding passion for changing human behaviour, which has led him to create a methodology that embraces disruption as a means to achieve the seemingly impossible within any organization.

Harper Reed, Ex-CTO Obama Campaign, is a US-based technology engineer, innovator and entrepreneur. He is considered to be a "tech pioneer", a "digital wizard". In 2012 Harper Reed was responsible for delivering Barack Obama's online campaign and get-out--the-vote program. He will share his fascination towards technology and how it can boost business performance.

Thomas Ramsøy, founder & CEO of Neurons Inc., Adjunct Faculty Member, at Singularity University, is another remarkable speaker and is considered one of the world's leading authorities on applied neuroscience and his research tells us how to better understand daily behaviours with neuroscience help.

And also Farrah Bezner, Head of New Business Ventures at Mondelez International. Bezner will discuss the importance of staying culturally relevant, and how to connect with consumers by adapting to change, while remaining authentic to the brand.

This year, David Shing will also be present at the summit, not as an invited keynote speaker but as a Digital Prophet that will launch the debate on  some key points, namely how consumers are no longer consuming content but are rather the creators, the critics and the curators.
