More than 4.600 students, from 90 countries have chosen Portugal and the University of Porto to complete their Academic training. U. Porto beats all records regarding the number of foreign students, in the context of international mobility programmes or to undergo complete graduate programmes.

EUSARF stands for European Scientific Association on Residential & Family Care for Children and Adolescents and it gathers researchers on child welfare and protection. EUSARF works voluntarily and disseminates knowledge in the field of child care.

Gallery owner from Porto is in Europe's top 40 list

The Apollo International Art Magazine has included, for the first time, a Portuguese marchand in the list of the 40 best cultural players in Europe. The gallery owner, from Porto, was selected for the under 40 category. Nuno Centeno was awarded at The Wallace Collection, in London.

Porto-Nagasaki celebrate town-twinning anniversary calling for nuclear disarmament

In the framework of the forty years of twinning, Porto and Nagasaki have created a store of relationships based on the values of friendship and cooperation. Porto City Hall, jointly with Nagasaki City Hall, have organised a display on the topic "A- Bomb Exhibition, Hiroshima and Nagasaki" to commemorate this long-standing and fruitful relationship.
