Little dragons on show at the FC Porto Museum

Fine art is always an engaging topic and an experience to be shared with family or friends, and as of 13th July, the Museum of FC Porto features the exhibition themed ""Dragõezinhos Ilustrados" ("Illustrated little Dragons", free translation), at the multipurpose room. The exhibit also offers activities delivered by the Educational Service of the Museum and is targeted at all ages.

Porto City Hall congratulates Futebol Clube do Porto on the victory yesterday, 15th July, in a game against Sporting, in the Dragão Stadium. FC Porto is now National Champion 2019/20. The match ended in a comfortable 2-0 for the "azuis e brancos", with goals by players Danilo and Marega.

Santo António Hospital in Porto marks 250 years and announces the renewal of the building facade

Two hundred and fifty years after the first brick was laid, the Hospital of Santo António, will have its facade renovated by the Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto. The cleansing of the hospital's facade is estimated at a half million euros and the Municipality of Porto will help support the endeavour, as a patron.

Porto Municipal Assembly approved the contract to establish an eco-track in the former Customs Railway branch, which was deactivated in 1989. The Municipal Executive unanimously approved this immediate solution, while a public discussion to debate the possible definitive solution to the railway branch is being prepared.

Porto Book Fair honours Leonor de Almeida and Maria de Sousa

This edition of Porto Book Fair is about literature written by women and thus the tribute is to poet Leonor de Almeida, who remains somewhat a mystery to the larger audience, and who will have her name inscribed in the Avenida das Tílias (aka Linden Avenue), and also the immunologist and poet, as well, Maria de Sousa, who recently passed away due to Covid-19.
