Casa das Artes shows remarkable films to freshen up routines and enlighten moods. The programming had to shut down due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic; but the good news is that this film club in Porto has got your late afternoons and evenings covered.

Today, 16th July marks the screening of the first film since the facilities closed, last March, and the film on screen is "Bacurau", by Kleber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dorneles.

"A filmmaker decides to travel to a village in the interior of Brazil to make a documentary. As days go by, he begins to discover that the locals are not exactly what they appear to be and hide dangerous secrets". The plot thickens, go and find out the rest.

The full agenda includes the screening of five films and attendance to Casa das Artes must comply with all health measures in place to help prevent the pandemic. As such, face masks are mandatory, social distancing is applied with previous reserved seats. Each session costs 3.5 euros, and students or seniors (65+) pay 2.5 euros.
