On Wednesday, the Mayor of Porto joined the municipalities of Mafra, Braga, Faro, Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo and Lisbon to sign a memorandum of understanding that establishes the principles of collaboration of the project.

The objective of Energy Cities is the exchange of experiences and new solutions, to prepare cities for the climate challenges of the coming years.

Recognition of ISO 37120 is granted by the World Council on City Data.

Registration for the educational program, PING!, is now open for the next two sessions.

This 900-year-old testimony will be celebrated with an exhibition at the Town Hall, on October 27 and 28.

In the Portuguese case, the celebrations are in charge of the United Nations Association - UNA Portugal.

The award was presented during the City Forum & Urban C-ITS Contest, which took place last week at the Biblioteca Municipal Almeida Garrett.

In addition it condemned "the unspeakable attack of the Hamas organization, for undermining the values on which this city was founded".

The cycle is integrated into the International Festival of Organ and Sacred Music of the Metropolitan Area and Diocese of Porto

There are more than fifty exhibitions, talks and free installations, spread throughout Porto and Matosinhos, and will run until December 3.
