Stage Reading events for families and children at the Municipal Libraries on Saturday

Saturdays are stage reading days for kids at the municipal libraries. The sessions start at 11 am and 3.30 pm. At Almeida Garrett Municipal Library, the storytelling time on 13 January is devoted to the work of the Italian writer Guido Visconti "The Scarecrow Who Wanted a Hug". All that Barnaby the Scarecrow longs for is to climb the hill and give Gwendoline a hug. Will Barnaby ever achieve his heart's desire?

Coliseu and the City: 75 Years of Stories on display at Porto City Hall lobby till 19 January

The exhibit "O Coliseu e a Cidade: 75 Anos de Histórias" [Coliseu and the City: 75 Years of Stories], will be on show at the City Hall lobby till 19th January. Inspired by the aesthetic value of artist Piet Mondrian, the display demonstrates the modernist items that are part of the Coliseu Porto acquis, and also elements from the Municipal Archive and the Portuguese Photography Centre collection, some being shown for the first time.

Poetic Cycle tertulia resumes on 18 January at Theatre Campo Alegre

Improvisational theatre by White Rabbit, Red Rabbit
