48 hours to change the world! Do you think you can do it?

Porto is a Jam Host, for the third time, of the the #GSJam event. The Service Jam Porto takes place from 29 to 31 March at Porto Innovation Hub and it is the perfect opportunity for people who want to innovate and try out a design-based approach to problem solving and creativity.

This year, the #GSJam has added a whole new level to the challenge by including an expert track to make the Jam more appealing to all time practitioners, namely design thinking, service design, or even innovation and user experience.

The hastag #doingnottalking is simultaneously celebrated in 300 cities worldwide and people are invited to address a challenge of the Global Service Jam, whose theme will only be revealed on the first day of the event.

Participants will be given new tools that will help them solve complex problems as well as redesign new and innovative solutions based on the user's needs.

As stated on the GSJ website, "the first Global Service Jam took place in March 2011, where more than 1200 participants in more than 50 cities created around 200 unique service designs around the Theme (Super)HEROES".

Porto Service Jam starts on 29 March at 6.30pm and ends on 31 March at 5pm. Professional design experts will supervise the entire Jam, which includes brainstorming, field research, generating ideas, prototyping and testing and the final presentation of projects.
