"Welcome" to the Theatre Campo Alegre with Balleteatro

Tiago Sarmento premieres his performance "Welcome" at Theatre Campo Alegre, on 4 April, with two shows at 5pm and at 9pm.

Fiction becomes a continuous and current reality, with three young actresses volunteering to go to a Refugees camp in Moria, the Greek Island of Lesbos.

This perspective leads the actress to seek a real story, whose content substance is not unrelated to the reports by displaced people and endless Syrian conflicts.

This was the starting point of a theatre play.

Tiago Sarmento was born in Porto. He is an actor, director, and theatre director. He graduated at the Escola Arti?stica de Soares dos Reis, in Porto and has a degree in Theatre by the Escola Superior de Mu?sica e Artes do Espeta?culo. He was an Erasmus student at Northumbria University, in Newcastle, and concluded his Master in Stating at the East 15 Acting School, in London. He currently teaches at Balleteatro and cooperates with the Teatro de Almada and the Este Estac?a?o Teatral.
